A Warm Welcome

Welcome to Cottingley Village Primary School, where every child’s journey is celebrated and nurtured with passion and inclusivity. As the Headteacher, I am delighted to introduce you to our vibrant and caring school community.

At Cottingley Village Primary School, we believe that every child is unique and deserves a learning environment that is both supportive and challenging. Our dedicated team of educators is committed to fostering a love of learning, encouraging curiosity, and developing the skills and confidence each child needs to thrive.

We pride ourselves on our inclusive ethos, ensuring that every student feels valued and respected. Our curriculum is designed to be engaging and accessible, catering to the diverse needs and interests of our pupils. We strive to create a safe and welcoming space where children can express themselves freely and develop a strong sense of belonging.

As a school team we have written ‘Cottingley’s 6 Golden Leaves of Belonging’ where the children can strive to be the best they can be.  These golden leaves are the golden thread that runs through everything that we do and are embedded within our curriculum offer.

We place great importance on building strong partnerships with our families and the wider community. We believe that collaboration and open communication are key to providing the best possible education for our children. We welcome your involvement and look forward to working together to support your child’s development.

Thank you for visiting our website. We hope you find it informative and reflective of the warm, inclusive, and dynamic environment we are proud to offer at Cottingley Village Primary School. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or would like to arrange a visit.

Warm regards,

Kirsty Hutchinson
